and survive the final challenge of "Hurricane Allie" there will be a celebration of great music, food and
beverage.

OBSTACLES DESCRIPTIONS (Tentative)
1) THE GREAT
WALL: The first obstacle is a mix of the Marine Corp confidence course and
the Navy Seal challenge course. It will test your upper body strength all the
way to the end. The walls never seem to stop and they get taller each time.
2) BALANCE BABY BALANCE: Obstacle number 2 is a simple balance test. You
must make it through the entire length without falling off. If you fall off
you must return to the beginning and start the obstacle over.
3) IN THE TRENCHES: Number three is the never ending trench. Logs
positioned across this ditch force you to move over and under never allowing you
to get very far without ducking or climbing.
4) WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE: Number four is a maze through the lost forest.
This obstacle can be rather tricky. Each participant must make the right
decision to find the way out. If not, it will feel like you are just going
around in a circle.
5) TIGHT SQUEEZE: Number five is going to be a tight fit. The openings
are narrow and some of them will require you to hold your breathe.
6) THE DARK WHOLE: Number 6 is going to be easy, the problem is that you
will not be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just keep moving
forward, the water is not deep.
7) SPIDER MAN: Number 7 will remind you of a spider web. It will take
patience to find the easiest way though the web. The web is tight and will be
tough as it captures more and more victims.
8) UP AND OVER: Number 8 is an up and over obstacle. The hay has cracks
that seem to just pull you in. With all the rounded corners, there is not much
to grab onto as you maneuver up and down.
9) THE BIG PIT: At Number 9 you will need to have some speed built up to
help you make it over the pit. There is not enough rope so you will have to jump
for it.
10) SWINGING NET - Number 10 is the net challenge. It will take
coordination and strength to negotiate the net. As more people get on the net,
the more it will swing. Don't forget to hang on tight.
11) SWAMP PEOPLE: Number 11 is the swamp crossing. There will be floating
challenges that will have to be crossed. They will not want to let you pass, you
could go under if you can hold your breathe that long.
12) HURRICANE ALLIE: Obstacle 12 is our rainy challenge. Hurricane
Allie
will deliver more rain than any hurricane in history. Can you make it through
the storm?
13) MUDDY BUDDY: Number 13 is on the home stretch, and what adventure
race could be complete without a mud pit with a rian shower at the end.
Good luck!!!
